GB Lounge Chair designed by Gijs Bakker, 1972
A modular lounge chair defined by its simple, bent form and generous upholstery. Designed by Gijs Bakker, the GB Lounge explores softness and structure in balance – a single piece of foam folded and held within a minimal metal frame.
Originally conceived as a more relaxed alternative to formal seating, the chair carries an easy, informal character. Low and inviting, it is designed for comfort and flexibility in use.
Raised slightly from the floor and adaptable through connectors, the GB Lounge can stand alone or form part of a larger seating system.
Available in a range of textiles from Cassina.
