Encre Noire is a one-of-a-kind ceramic table lamp, combining a sculptural stoneware base with a bespoke parchment shade made specifically for the piece.
Drawing on the geometric refinement and balanced proportions of Art Deco, the silhouette is reinterpreted through a contemporary, handcrafted expression. The ceramic base is fired at 1240°C and finished in a deep, glossy black glaze, creating a rich surface reminiscent of lacquered objects.
The natural paper parchment shade softly diffuses the light while complementing the weight and proportions of the ceramic base.
Entirely handmade and created as a single edition, Encre Noire is a unique piece that will not be reproduced.

Studio Gazar is a Serbia-based design studio founded by potter and designer Midheta Agic. Working primarily with clay and other natural materials, the studio creates sculptural vases, ceramic lighting and architectural objects by hand.
