Encre Noire is a one-of-a-kind ceramic table lamp, combining a sculptural stoneware base with a bespoke parchment shade made specifically for the piece.
Drawing on the geometric refinement and balanced proportions of Art Deco, the silhouette is reinterpreted through a contemporary, handcrafted expression. The ceramic base is fired at 1240°C and finished in a deep, glossy black glaze, creating a rich surface reminiscent of lacquered objects.
The natural paper parchment shade softly diffuses the light while complementing the weight and proportions of the ceramic base.
Entirely handmade and created as a single edition, Encre Noire is a unique piece that will not be reproduced.

About Studio Gazar
Studio Gazar is a Serbia-based design studio founded by potter and designer Midheta Agic. Working primarily with clay and other natural materials, the studio creates sculptural vases, ceramic lighting and architectural objects by hand. Inspired by classical architecture and timeless proportions, Agic reinterprets familiar forms through a contemporary lens, allowing the natural character of the material and traces of the making process to remain visible.
