Translating his sculptural collages into textile form, the design reflects his interplay of light and shadow through varying pile heights and a tactile composition.
Hand-knotted from 95% New Zealand wool and 5% silk, the rug balances softness, structure, and luminous detail. The wool brings natural purity and durability, while the silk adds subtle sheen and depth—echoing the suspended elegance of Chillida’s original work.
