Tadaima presents a selection of Åsa Stenerhag’s sculptures and vases, characterized by their organic shapes and subtle textures. Her sculptures possess a distinct tactile quality and precision, drawing inspiration from everyday objects, nature, anatomy, and architecture. Åsa works with stoneware clay, subjecting it to different firing temperatures to achieve specific shades, and then employs non-traditional drying methods like linseed oil wax and shoe polish for coloring.

Åsa Stenerhag is an artist based in Stockholm but used to work for several years in fashion as a design director for renowned brands such as Filippa K and Toteme. 

Each sculpture carries a unique expression, achieved through a ritualistic creative process that refines and centers on essential elements—capturing shapes in motion.
