Cup With Handle, Ulslev
This stoneware cup with handle is hand-turned and glazed with a matte finish by Kristine Vedel Adeltoft, a self-taught ceramic artist from Falster, Denmark. The unique glaze contains microcrystals that create depth in the otherwise serene white color. The cup has a rounded bottom, making it comfortable to hold.
The glazes are inspired by the rustic earth tones of the local nature in Falster, and are named after nearby areas such as the forest at Corselitze, the natural landscape around Hæsnæs, Grønsund, and Bavnehøj.
