Inspired by mountain river curves and rock veins cutting through monolithic cliffs, this rug translates natural formations into a rhythmic, layered pattern. What appears as chaos reveals a subtle order, guiding both eye and thought.
Woven from pure sheep’s wool, it continues the Hutsul tradition of the lizhnyk - a rug used in both daily life and ritual. Each Basny lizhnyk is handmade through more than ten stages, from gathering and preparing the wool to the final finishing of the textile.
