A hand-built stoneware teapot with a sculptural, architectural presence. The dark, textured surface is created through wood firing, where flame and ash produce rich tones and subtle variations.

Finished with a simple metal handle that adds contrast to the raw ceramic form. Each teapot is unique.

About Helle Bovbjerg

Danish ceramicist Helle Bovbjerg graduated from Design School Kolding in 1990 and has since worked from her studio near Viborg, creating both sculptural and functional ceramics. Her work is defined by clear forms, strong proportions, and a restrained aesthetic. In recent years, the teapot has become a central theme in her practice - explored both as a practical vessel and as a sculptural object. For Tadaima, she presents hand-built teapots alongside unique cups and bowls, wood-fired to achieve richly textured surfaces shaped by flame and ash. Each piece is made by hand and entirely unique.
