Designed by Corin Mellor as part of the signature stainless steel tableware range, these salt and pepper mills combine elegant design with engineered precision. The uniquely machined tops are inspired by industrial cogs—a nod to their grinding function and the brand’s design heritage.
Each mill features a ceramic CrushGrind® mechanism and is finished with a discreet black or white band to differentiate salt from pepper. The base is subtly branded with ‘David Mellor.’

About David Mellor
David Mellor (1930-2009) was a renowned 20th-century designer famous for his cutlery, with a global reputation. Initially trained as a silversmith in Sheffield, his metalwork can be found in museum collections worldwide. In 1990, he established his own factory in England where he produced cutlery and kitchen knives, drawing on Sheffield's heritage of craftsmanship to create modern and innovative products.
