The story of Licia Florio begins with a Milanese romance between Licia Florio and Francio Ferrari. Their shared passion for art and everyday objects inspired them to create meaningful pieces that people could wear, live with, and grow through. Licia left her job at Marni, and in 2010, she and Francio founded their label. Their mission with Licia is to craft mindful objects that encourage individuals to discover their best selves and find significance in the ordinary.

Their nail polishes are crafted without harmful ingredients, prioritizing quality and safety. They are toxic-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and made in Italy.
