This wheel thrown cup was created with materials sourced in the Catskill Mountain region of New York and fired in a wood kiln for 36 hours. This complex interaction of ash, salts, minerals in the clay and the flame itself are what give wood-fired pots their unique characteristics. Featuring an inherently grounding and earthy aesthetic, this piece look as beautiful at rest on your shelf or tabletop as they do holding your beverage of choice.
