Wood Fired Bowl (M)

Korean Yoon Bum-seok’s ceramics are fired in an anagama kiln that makes a wonderful depth of character – with occasional flame markings from the kiln and wood ash spotting. The stoneware has been glazed with a shino glaze that enhances the texture of the colors. His forms tend to be raw and organic, illustrating his preference to let the materials speak for themselves.
