Chawan Tea Bowl 10

This handmade chawan tea bowl is made by Danish potter and artist Tommy Lindegren. The bowl’s subtle form and subdued tone embodies the style of the revered raku pottery, which was created in the 16th century upon the ideals of Japanese tea master, Sen no Rikyu. This firing technique gives the clay its unique appearance and the generous size makes it the perfect bowl for matcha preparation or as a breakfast bowl.
