Kirsten Lillelund

Since Kirsten Lillelund made her debut as a painter at The Artists' Autumn Exhibition held at the Free Center of Contemporary Art in 1996, she has worked with paintings that shows people in motion. For the last 10 years she has focused more on sculptures, where ‘Human Landscape’ has been an ongoing theme. As in painting, Kirsten's clay work is usually based on people in movement, and develops from more naturalistic studies towards the abstract. She is the owner of Galleri Klejn on Bornholm, which shows modern art, and has a workshop in connection with the gallery.
